Grievance Cell

The grievance procedure is a mechanism to redress any issues that a student may have with the college. This cell addresses such grievances within the framework of the rules and regulations of the college. It enquires and analyses the nature and pattern of the grievances in a strictly confidential manner. Matters are disclosed to only those who have a legitimate role in resolving the matter. Emphasis on procedural fairness is given with a view to “the right to be heard and right to be treated without bias”.

The college has a separate Grievance Redressal Cell which takes necessary steps to deal with the various problems of the students, teachers and non-teaching staff members. A complaint box is kept within the college premises to encourage the students to give their feedback. The cell often conducts meetings to resolve issues related to academics and infrastructure.

The Student’s Grievance Cell aims to promote and maintain a conducive and unbiased educational environment. The objectives of Students Grievance Cell include the following:

  1. To support the students in various ways for making their experiences in college favourable for further growth in their life.
  2. To maintain a responsive, accountable, transparent and courteous system.
  3. To ensure effective solution to the student’s grievances with an impartial and fair approach.
  4. To guide the students in ways and means to redress their problems
  5. To create a feeling of harmony among students, faculty members and the administration of the college.
