The department of Education was established in the year 1994 as a General department and subsequently, in 2003 Honors course was started. At present there are two Assistant Professors and three guest lecturers in the department. The department has a well equipped library. The students are encouraged to participate in various group activities such as group discussion, extempore and the like. Eminent teachers from other colleges and universities occasionally visit the students to encourage them. The students of this department are also proficient in co curricular activities and socially useful and productive activities in and outside the college campus.
