The Placement Cell under IQAC organises career guidance programmes for  the students of the college. The cell arranges training programmes on Soft Skill Development like Mock Interviews, Group Discussions, Personality development, Developing CVs and bio-data and Communication Skills workshops.

The Cell thus aims at holistic development of the students to meet the Industries’ recruitment process. The students are motivated to develop technical knowledge and soft-skill in terms of career planning and goal setting.

The students are also encouraged to pursue competitive examinations for the public sector as well. Faculty of many departments regularly guide and mentor the students for competitive exam preparation.

During the Covid-19 pandemic the Placement Cell conducted a students’ training programme on Soft Skill Development: Writing CVs and Facing Interviews. Two training sessions for UG and PG students of the college were conducted by Communicative English and soft-skill development expert Smt. Debarati Das formerly of Jamshedpur Women’s College.

Various departments also arrange for industry interactions and talks to enhance students’ skill and aptitude as per the industry requirement. The institution thus emphasizes on preparing the students for their professional roles as well guiding them in successfully establishing themselves in their career.
